H C T V - November 2010

Generally, the villagers seem to be in good health with no new problems except for skin problems. The lack of clean water supply is still a major issue and until this basic need is met, it looks like we will continue to face such cases.

Food rations were given out as usual, but we are feeling the pinch with rising food prices - buying rations for one family with the increased prices is one thing, buying for 40 families is another story altogether. This time we were blessed with a donation of chocolate milk Reliv Now for Kids.

If you would like to help feed the villagers (not what's expired and unedible, but sharing what you have), please let us know. Since there is no electricity, we have to depend on canned food, e.g sardines, corned beef, etc. They are lacking protein in their diet and if you would like to contribute either in cash or kind, please drop us an email and we can talk further.
